Items we gladly accept
We are always thrilled to receive a wide variety of books and media that are in good condition. Your contributions help us achieve our mission. Here is what makes our day:
- Fiction & literature: Novels, classics, science fiction, fantasy, romance, thrillers.
- Non-fiction & biographies: History, memoirs, cooking, arts, crafts, science, philosophy.
- Children's books: Board books, picture books, middle-grade, and young adult.
- Graphic novels & comics: Bound trade paperbacks and manga.
- Textbooks: Recent college or high school textbooks (published in the last 10 years).
- DVDs: Movies, documentaries, TV series, and educational titles in good condition.
- CDs: Music albums and spoken word recordings.

Items we cannot accept
While we appreciate every donation, some items simply cannot be accepted due to condition, relevance, or storage limitations. Please do not bring or offer these for pick-up:
- Magazines & periodicals: Including National Geographic, Life, or outdated journals.
- Moisture-damaged books: Any books with water rings, mold, or strong musty odors.
- Pest-damaged books: Books showing signs of bugs, rodents, or excessive dirt.
- Outdated reference: Encyclopedias, old travel guides, or software manuals older than 5 years.
- Torn or missing pages: Books that are structurally compromised or falling apart.

Preparing your donation
To ensure a smooth and efficient process for both drop-off and pick-up, we recommend preparing your items in advance. Having them boxed or bagged makes things fast and convenient for our team. If your donation is too big of a job for you to box yourself, no problem! Just let us know, and we will pack everything for you.
The journey of your donation
Once you donate to Pop'n Tots Book Donation, your items embark on a new journey. All books and media will be carefully sorted to suit their eventual destination, ensuring they find new homes and continue to bring joy and knowledge to others.
